Air Navigation Services
Air Navigation Services support the safe, orderly and efficient movement of aircraft through Belizean airspace. The Department provides regulatory and safety oversight of the service providers, systems, infrastructure, procedures and personnel that make these services possible.
Department inspectors assess compliance with national requirements developed from the standards and recommended practices of the International Civil Aviation Organization. This oversight helps ensure that air navigation services remain safe, reliable and appropriate for Belize’s aviation environment.
