Aerodromes

The Aerodromes service area provides regulatory oversight of aerodrome design, certification, operations, maintenance and safety management.

Oversight activities

Aerodrome certification and continuing surveillance
Assessment of infrastructure, obstacle environments and operational procedures
Review of aerodrome manuals and safety-management arrangements
Inspections and corrective-action monitoring
Technical guidance for operators and proposed developments

Operational aerodrome information should be obtained from the current Aeronautical Information Publication and other authoritative aeronautical sources.

Staging content: operational requirements, contacts, fees, processing information and publication links must be confirmed by the responsible Department owner before public release.
