Aircraft operators planning an international flight to, from or through Belize may require advance clearances, flight-plan coordination and supporting documents.
Plan before departure
- Confirm whether landing or overflight clearance is required.
- Review customs, immigration, health and security requirements with the responsible agencies.
- Prepare aircraft, operator, crew, passenger and route information.
- Confirm insurance, registration, airworthiness and operational documents.
- File the required flight plan through the approved route.
- Check current NOTAM and Aeronautical Information Publication information.
